Hope or Fear or Both???

Hope propelled the universe, multi-verse and the emotional, rational, logical and illogical content of the complex system we are in today since time immemorial and Hope seems to have originated from the Heart of the universe or Heart of all beings.

But, what can we say about fear? Fear seems like a nervous reaction to a Future event based on selective memories mainly bitter ones, so, which emotion should we nourish and reinforce and develop, Hope or fear and why? This question bothered me for many years now.

I have not quoted any reference on the above subject as I wanted to take a break from this predictable and prescribed format where all human ideas need to conform to a certain format or standard. I like to stretch the boundaries of human thinking slightly further so as to feel different and feel not overly limited by set standards.

To me, the sense and Idea of “Culture” be it Country’s ethnic group, Identity and self image stems from the basic emotion of Fear, Fear of losing one’s loved ones, losing self, losing the group, the particular race and the human species as a whole.

The Gobal Arms race, Trade war, Protectionism, Terrorism, Corruption Collusion Crime of any Nature Stems from the single human emotion Fear.

Many Standard books in Management and Leadership look at Fear as destructive emotions for Profit and Advancing human civilization but in reality element of Fear is dominant in the Collective Psyche as well individual Psyche of all global citizens. I am perplexed, dumbfounded on this double standard.

Fear seems to be flowing from the Brain and home of the rational and analytical whereas Hope seems to be originating from the Heart non rational, spontaneously intuitive and drawing strength from the unknowable. So, in conclusion, I am convinced that there is so much wisdom and knowledge yet to be explored by Mankind  and I feel that resolution of any conflict should not be totally based on logic, reasoning alone but taking into account the healing and harmonizing power of the intuitive Heart which is the mother of Hope………
